A Simple Steps to the Perfect Blow Dry:
- Shampoo and condition with your favourite Joh Bailey products, then towel dry
- To create volume and remove excess water, throw your head forward and dry the hair upside down until 2/4 dry.
- Pull your hair into three sections and clip up the two sides.
- Separate a small rectangle of hair from the unclipped section, beginning at the nape.
- Using a thick, round brush and starting at the roots, place the nozzle close to the hair but not in direct contact. Slowly slide the hair through the brush while blow drying away from the head, gently stretching and straightening as you go.
- Make sure to blow dry only from the top of the brush while keeping the tension consistent. Distribute the heat evenly over each small section of the hair to ensure a smooth result.
- Repeat with other sections of damp hair, working from the nape or the front to the crown until completed.

Hairdrying Top Tips
- Avoid frizz by ensuring the hot hair is always directed downwards
- For extra body and bounce, place the brush on the hair root and move the brush forward and up the the hairdryer following.
- Finish with a small amount of serum or pomade for a sleek, professional result.
Straightening
Using a spray bottle, very lightly mist each section of the hair before straightening to give a silky sleek finish.
Take larger sections of hair to the straightener to give the hair more body at the roots.
Rollers
The smaller the sections of hair in each roller, the bouncier and curlier the effect.
For the longest-lasting result, allow the Rollers to cool off completely before removing them.
Flexi-Rollers
After removing flexi-rollers use only your fingers to separate the curls.
Wind flexi-rollers halfway up each section for volume and curl at the ends with smooth roots.
Curling
For more distinct curls, twist the hair before wrapping around the tong.
For a crisper curl, spray each section with hairspray before tonging.
